The Foreign Exchange Professionals Association (“FXPA”) is a Washington-based organization that represents the collective interests of professional foreign exchange industry participants. The group is designed to engage key regulators and policymakers through education, research, and advocacy, with the goal of advancing a sound, liquid, transparent and competitive global currency market. The group will focus its activities on the education of U.S. and international legislators, regulators and central banks, as well as multinational organizations and trade bodies.

Engagement with Regulators Critical, says FXPA

The Foreign Exchange Professionals Association (FXPA) warns that now is a critical time for the FX industry to enhance its engagement with regulators. Representatives of the Foreign Exchange Professionals Association (FXPA), which announced its launch at Profit & Loss’ Forex Network Chicago event on September 25, stressed the importance of the industry being represented by one voice to regulatory bodies around the globe.
